Account & data deletion

View Oman (View Oman) lets you delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time.

Delete your account

Follow these steps to permanently delete your View Oman account:

  1. Open the View Oman mobile app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Profile โ†’ Account security โ†’ Delete account.
  3. Enter your password (if you have one), confirm the warning, and tap Delete my account.
  4. Or sign in on the website at https://viewoman.xyz/login.
  5. Open Profile from your user menu, scroll to the Delete account section, confirm, and submit.
  6. Your account is deleted immediately. You will be signed out automatically.

Request deletion of your data

Deleting your account also deletes the personal data listed below. You do not need a separate request when you delete the account in the app or on the website.

Data that is deleted

  • Account profile (name, email, phone, photo, bio, language and country preferences)
  • Your business listings, photos, and listing inquiries (leads)
  • Your travel experiences, photos, and comments
  • Reviews and comments you posted
  • Saved listings and notification device tokens
  • Login sessions and API access tokens

Data that may be retained

  • Anonymised or aggregated analytics that cannot identify you
  • Records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations (typically up to 7 years, where applicable)
  • Backup copies are purged within 90 days after deletion

Except where the law requires a longer period, personal data is removed when your account is deleted and backup copies are purged within 90 days.
